The region ECOSYSTEM VLG world corresponding to Lake TANGANYIKA, includes the head of Lake TANGANYIKA with the regions, in the DRC, from the City of UVIRA to KINDU, and, in BURUNDI, the City of BUJUMBURA and its surroundings .
It is a trans-provincial, trans-regional and transnational REGION. This zone was defined in this way in order to bring together territories facing the same concerns around the same body of water. For us, the head of the lake in the Lake TANGANYIKA region is one and the same community territory that can meet common challenges.
It has 3 main locations, one in UVIRA, one in KINDU and one in BUJUMBURA.
